I couldn’t disregard Rick Ross for dropping two full length albums in 2014. Mastermind was superior to Hood Billionaire, but together the vicious “war ready” collection delivers 2 hours of uncut top tapping rap. An achievement no hip hop artist equaled this year. It almost killed him. Twice. Made for a great summer while in a rap drought.
Alongside his all-star friends (Jay Z, The Weeknd, Kanye West, Jeezy, Big Sean, Big K.R.I.T., Meek Mill, Scarface, Lil Wayne, French Montana, etc.) Ricky the boss brought torched Maybachs on fire to your neighborhood. You really got The Boss in all his glory. No longer novice. Rick Ross took center stage with his ghetto poetry. Mastermind defines the legacy the Teflon Don is trying to pave the ground work for & Hood Billionaire is just him having fun in the booth. Ying to Yang. Maybach to Aston Martin.
You won’t have single sober vein your body after listening to this epic playlist.
